With the improvement of our living standards, people are paying more and more attention on those products that are closely related to our health and safety. Medical equipment, which is for the advancement and improvement of our quality of life and health, especially gets more and more people's extensive concerning.Overall, the current number of domestic companies which produce medical device have been over 10,000, but most of them are small or medium-sized private enterprises, which are lack of technological strength, their self-development capacity is limited, most of their products are simple imitation of the foreign medical devices, more Consideration on the function, but less consideration on the human factors, environment and other factors, there is little ergonomics study of medical device. However, foreign companies which produce medical device have attached great importance to the applications of ergonomics in the design of medical devices; their products have shown great care about the users and the patients. Therefore, the ergonomic study on the design of medical devices design of human research can improve the competitiveness of domestic medical devices!This paper mainly did a research on the concepts, methods and content of ergonomics study in the design of medical device. The special nature of the medical device was analyzed. The ergonomics factors should be considered in the design of medical devices were summed up. An in-depth analysis of the dialectical relation between "man" system and "machine" system from the aspects of medical staff and patients were done. A research on the design of sculpts and colors of medical device were done. The real terms in the design of medical devices were analyzed. The psychological impact from the sculpt design was described, and the methods to overcome the psychological impact and the ergonomics principles in the design of sculpt were given out. From the aspects of psychology and physiology, the impact factors in color design of medical devices were analyzed, and the color design principles of the medical equipment were summed up. Finally, with the example of the design of ENT clinics Equipment, the process of applying ergonomics in the design of medical devices was introduced, and a comprehensive evaluation according to the evaluation aim of the ENT clinics equipment was conducted.The whole text did an in-depth research on the integration of ergonomics and the design of medical devices. The example of ENT clinics equipment was used to do a full feasibility studies, and the care to medical staff and patients in the design of medical devices was reflected.
