| objective To give an anatomical description of the ligamentum teres hepatic and its features and explore the value of the ligamentum teres hepatic for applied anatomical basis for the clinical therapy in patients.Methods To choose 20 normal adult ligamentum teres hepatic were fixed by 10% formaldehyde(including liver),and 6 normal pig ligamentum teres hepatic(including liver).To observe the form,location,number,diameter and Scalability of the ligamentum teres hepatic,as well as the form,blood supply and location of the Vascular.And to give a general examination for the patients have had surgery.Results ligamentum teres hepatic is a cord-like ligament found within the falciform ligament on the inner surface of the anterior abdominal wall and represents a remnant of the umbilical vein,which is a connecting venous structure between the placenta and the umbilical portion of the left portal vein.It is located at the dorsal free margin of the falciform ligament,ligamentum teres hepatic was divided into Extraperitoneal paragraph and Peritoneal within paragraph.In accordance with its route,it was divided into subaponeurotic portion,Free portion,Fissures Portion and U-PJ portion.The diameter of ligamentum teres hepatic were 178.44±30.38mm.The first three diameter of ligamentum teres hepatic were2.45±0.24mm,4.24±0.30mm,and 5.79±0.30mm.The Scalability of vacular is very good.The Scalability diameter were 8.36±0.72mmConclusion ligamentum teres hepatic have life-long residual lumen,ligamentum teres hepatic with cavity is a very good tissue to repair the defect in the thoracoabdominal and head surgical operation,ligamentum teres hepatic have a similar Wall structure with bile duct.Cavity surface covered with simple squamous endothelial cells,ligamentum teres hepatic have a good blood supply.Its proximity to biliary.It assure the anastomosis of the wall of ligamentum teres hepatic has a good healing.The Clinical application become more and more widely.It has a good application prospects.
