Objective:To study the effect of Shengmai injection on Scv02 and Lactic acid in patients with septic shock. Methods:Forty patients with septic shock were divided randomly into treatment group(n=20)and control group(n=20).Both of two groups were treated with conventional therapy.Patients in the treatment group were treated with Shengmai injection simultaneously, while patients in the control group were treated with 5%glucose injection.Artery blood and central vein blood was drawed for blood gas analysis before and 2,4,6 and 12 hours after treatment in patients of both groups.Central venous oxygen saturation(Scv02)and Lactic acid were measured, and Oxygen extraction rate and lactate clearance rate were calculated.Mean arterial blood pressure(MAP),heart rate(HR),central venous pressure(CVP)were recorded.Dates were collected for statistical analysis. Results:There were no significant differences in Scv02,lactic acid,02ER, MAP,CVP and HR between two groups before treatment(all P>0.05).The levels of Scv02 at 4,6 and 12 hours after treatment in treatment group were obviously higher than those in control group(all P<0.05).And the concentration of lactic acid at 6 and 12 hours after treatment in treatment group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The lactic clearance rate at 6 and 12 hours in treatment group were higher than those in control group(both P<0.01).The 02ER at 2,6 and 12 hours after treatment in treatment group were higher than those in control group(all P<0.05).But there were no significant differences in CVP and HR before and after treatment between two groups(all P>0.05). Conclusion:Contrast to conventional western resuscitation therapy, Shengmai injection combined with conventional western resuscitation therapy can more notably higher Scv02,lower blood lactic acid, increase Oxygen extraction rate, and improve systemic oxygen metabolism in patients with septic shock.
