The Sonodynamic Therapy And Photodynamic Therapy With Chlorine E4 On Sarcoma S-180 In Mouse

Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Sonodynamic Therapy and Photodynamic.Therapy with Chlorine e4(e4) on sarcoma S-180 inmouse.■■"■".'.'.-■■'Whether e4 with Xian yu Tang was better than Xian yu Tang in upgrading quality of life.Methods:1.The tumor bearing mice were randomly allocated to following groups: sham-treatment(control,C),ultrasound treatment(only ultrasound treatment, 1.6W/cm~2,without e4 U),e4 treatment(e4 40mg/Kg,ip) without ultrasound treatment,e4),e4 + ultrasound treatment(eU).The intensity of ultrasound was 0.4W/cm~2(eu1),0.8W/cm~2(eu2),and 1.6W/cm~2(eu3).S-180 sarcoma in mouse were injected ip with e4(40mg/kg).6 hours later,S-180 sarcoma in mouse were treated by 1.0-MHz continuous focused ultrasound in the presence of e4 for 3 minutes.The tumor size was measured every 2days.2.The tumor bearing mice were randomly allocated to following groups:sham-treatment(control,C), light treatment(P),e4 treatment(e4 40mg/Kg,ip) without laser treatment, e4),e4 + laser treatment(PDT).S-180 sarcoma in mouse were injected ip with e4(40mg/kg).6 hours later,20W/cm~2 light was used to irradiate the tumor area for 20minutes.the tumor size was measured every 2days.3.Clinical research:40 patients with stage IV NSCLC were divided randomly into two groups,namely,Chinese medicine group(groupA),Combinati on group(group B).In group A,20patiens were treat with Xianyu Tang.In group B,20 patiens were treat with Xianyu Tang and e4(e4 40mg/Kg,ip).Results:1.The average volume and weight of C group,ultrasound group,e4 group,eU1 group,eU2 group,eU3 group were 2.4493±0.4228 cm~3 vs3.24±0.1140g, 1.5425±0.3172 cm~3 vs1.96±0.1342g,1.4253±0.2343 cm~3 vs1.94±0.1140g, 0.7667±0.1033 cm~3 vs0.76±0.0894,0.5901±0.0461 cm~3 vs0.56± 00.0548g,0.5660±0.1185 cm~3 vs0.52±0.0837 g,respectively,there were significant difference comparing to C group(P<0.05).Compared with eU3 group, The average weight of other groups were lighter,there were significant difference(P<0.05).It had no statistically significant impact comparing the average weight of eU3 group with the average weight of eU2 group.2.The average volume of C group,light group,e4 group,PDT group were 1.9406±0.1140 cm~3,1.0020±0.1176cm~3,0.9288±0.0431 cm~3,0.7949±0.0235 cm~3 /respectively, there were significant difference comparing to PDT group(P<0.05).Compared with PDT group,The average weight of other groups were.lighter,there were significant difference(P<0.05).3.There was no difference between group A and group B in local tumor size(P>0.05),There was significant difference between group A and group B in upgrading quality of life.Conclusion:Our data primarily show that both SDT and PDT combine with e4 can induce the sarcoma S-180.with increasing ultrasound intensity,the inhibitory effect was enhanced in some range of ultrasoud intensity.e4 itself can inhibit the tumor.e4 with Xian yu Tang was better than Xian yu Tang in upgrading quality of life.
