Research On Diagnostic Capabilities Of Medical & Health Institutions And Medical Workers In Taiyuan

Objective:AIDS diagnosis is crucial for finding the HIV carrier and curbing the spread of AIDS effectively.With the world's organizations and our government do the great efforts to prevent and control AIDS,various government departments and organizations have taken active measures to jointly deal with the spread of AIDS.In order to know the Taiyuan City, district,township and village-level medical institutions and medical staff for the cognitive level of AIDS diagnosis knowledge,diagnostic equipment and the basic situation of professionals,thereby to comprehensive assess the ability of AIDS diagnosis to the medical institutions and medical staff,analyze the medical and health institutions and medical staff at AIDS diagnosis of existing problems,propose reasonable solutions to the problem of AIDS in our city planning to develop a reference,we carried out this study.Method:This research through three kinds of questionnaires,to Taiyuan including the General hospital,the Specialized hospital,the Villages and towns Public health center,the village clinic,the individual clinic,CDC,the women and children organization,blood collection agencies,family planning organizations and so on to conduct AIDS diagnostic capabilities investigation.Through random sampling methods,investigate and research the medical staff′level of knowledge about AIDS diagnosis,the medical and health administrative leaders′concern degree about AIDS diagnosis capability,the system, interface,management,and so on of AIDS diagnosis performed by medical and health institutions,the general condition of laboratory department including staff,equipment, quality control,and so on,the medical institutions′comprehension and execution of AIDS diagnosis program.Finally diagnostic capabilities combined scores were compared.Results:27 medical and health departments,558 copies of the questionnaire showed that the Taiyuan medical personnel grasp AIDS to prevent and control the knowledge the level to be high,to some foundation sexual knowledge reply accuracy is 98%.But for some more professional diagnosis of the problem of the low rate of correct answer.Health and technical workers had received training in the parent department of the higher rate for 95.3%.The medical personnel diagnose knowledge knowing rate to be highest,is 71.3%;The medicament and examines the personnel to be next,doctor third,nurse is lowest,is 51.6%.Disease control, maternal and child knowledge about the diagnosis,such as the highest body for 69.6%, followed by general hospitals,private hospitals,community hospitals,private clinics,the lowest 41.6%.Internal medicine,surgery,obstetrics,pediatrics,and other clinical departments, ancillary departments were awareness of 68.5%,74.2%,72.2%,65.6%,41.8%and 78.5%.Different types of institutions in line with the average rate of the laboratory,there was a significant difference.General Hospital in line with the higher rate of 76.4%.Other agencies, private hospitals and 75.3%respectively 73.7%,community hospitals low 67.1 percent.The most investigation units have the related AIDS control system,the leader take seriously,the related outpatient service carries on dangerous personnel AIDS immune body screening,sets up AIDS voluntary consultation examination room,and frequently self-examination.But some Medical establishment has the outpatient service personnel to leak looks up,has not participated in the provincial level nature to control questions and so on inspection.Personnel in the integrated cognitive,laboratory capacity and the capacity of the Chief Executive,the health institutions of different types of shows,including the type of disease control agencies,maternal and child agencies,blood collection agencies,including Health agencies,medical institutions and other types of integrated diagnostic capabilities the highest,73.1 hours;General Hospital followed for 70.9 hours;private hospitals and community hospitals with lower,respectively, 68.0 and 59.7 points.After statistical testing,there was a significant difference.Conclusion:Through the investigation found that medical institutions in our city medical diagnosis of AIDS is relatively high degree of knowledge,and other technical personnel hygiene knowledge of the situation than inspectors,inspection officers than doctors,nurses than physicians.CDC,the women and children organization,family planning and blood bank and other medical institutions is higher than general hospitals,general hospitals than private hospitals,private hospitals than community hospitals.AIDS testing laboratories in the high pass rate,the General hospitals have highest rate of hospital laboratories, community hospitals the lowest.Administration implementation capacity is generally higher. Various types of medical and health institutions' diagnostic capabilities of AIDS descending order to include CDC,women and children organization,family planning,including Health Department,Blood Center,other medical institutions,fully mechanized and medical institutions,private hospital,community hospital.
