A Study On The Effect Of Family-Focused Psychoeducational Therapy For Adolescent Inpatients With Depression Disorder

Objective:To explore an assistant psychological intervention treatment for adolescent inpatients with depression in order to improve the effect of nursing and to establish a treatment pamphlet of the FFT for adolescent inpatients with depression.To confirm whether this intervention can be used clinically by testing the efficacy of the therapy.Method:The treatment pamphlet of the FFT for adolescent inpatients with depression is established on the basis of correlate theory and pathogenesis,upon the suggestion of clinical experts.In a clinical controlled test,convenience sampling was employed to collect samples.40 inpatients from the psychological hospital of Qingdao Mental Health Center were randomly assigned to a study group or control group.Within the study group were accepeted FFT plus Fluoxetine Hydrochloride antidepressants drug therapy(20-60mg/d) and routine psychiatric nursing care,while the control group just accepted pharmacotherapy and routine psychiatric nursing care.A self-developed questionnaire,BDI and MADS were applied to analyze the difference between two groups before and after one week,two weeks,four weeks,and eight weeks of treatment.A database with statistical analysis was created.Result:The treatment pamphlet of the FFT for adolescent inpatients with depression is established.After intervention,significant reductions were observed for scores of MADS and BDI in either study or control group.But the scores of MADS and BDI in the study group were lower than those in the control group (t=-2.677,p<0.05;t=-3.94,p<0.05).Another,from two-weeks after intervention,the score of MADS in study group was lower than the control group,and this superiority continued until the end.Six factors' scores of MADS in study group were significant lower than the control group significant differences were found for the average days in hospital between two groups(t=-2.166,p<0.05 ).Conclusion.The treatment pamphlet of the FFT in this research is fitted with the characteristics of the inpatients of adolescent depression.Patients in FFT showed greater improvements in depressive symptoms in the clinical test,which appears that Family-focused psychoeducational treatment is an efficacious adjunct to pharmacotherapy for adolescent depression.
