Objective To study the quantitative gene expression Of EX-33 and IL-32 protein in human dental pulp normal and infection,in order to explore the role of EX-33 and IL-32 protein in the occurrence and development process of the acute pulpitis and chronic pulpitis. Methods In this study,15 cases of the pulp tissue was selected, among which every five cases came from normal dental pulpitis, acute pulpitis, chronic pulpitis. The total RNA were extracted from each example of Pulp tissue. Then by RT -PCR(Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction) and FQ-PCR(Flurescence Quantitative PCR),the level of EX-33 and IL-32 mRNAs were determined.SPSS12.0 software was used to analyze the result. Results EX-33 and IL-32 both can be detected from the pulp tissue of 3 groups. In the normal group,EX-33 and IL-32 gene level both are the minimum; In the acute pulpitis group,EX-33 is the highest; And in the chronic pulpitis group,IL-32 is the highest. The results among the three groups have significant difference. Conclusion EX-33 can be used as the indicator to detect the acute pulpitis(acute pulpitis,AP),IL-32 can be used as the indicator to detect the chronic pulpitis(chronic pulpitis,CP).
