| As a developing country,China still has many problems with regards to food safety and is also confronted with many challenges concerning food safety guarantee.In the food safety inspection system,the analysis of harmful components is a key procedure.There are 3-level analytical systems in the inspection system nowadays in China.The first is the rapid detection for the field analysis.The second is the routine analysis,i.e. qualitative/quantitative analysis for the determination of harmful components in foods.The third is the arbitration analysis for the identification of harmful components in foods.Among three analysis systems,the routine analysis can monitor the unconventionality of the food safety status.In this paper,analytical methods of sudanâ…£and its isomer,melamine,and aluminum for the food safety routine analysis were studied.The details are summarized as follows:In chapter 1,the present situation and the developmental trend of analytical methods of harmful components in foods were reviewed.The application and the development of analytical instruments for the food safety inspection were also discussed.In chapter 2,a HPLC method for the determination of Sudanâ…£and its isomer in the foods containing capsicum was developed.The changes of the peak areas of sudanâ…£and its isomer under different conditions were investigated in detail.Basing on the results,a method for the quantitative determination of sudanâ…£and its isomer in the foods was proposed.The total content of sudanâ…£in the foods can be determined accurately by the method.The method is useful for the routine analysis of sudanâ…£and its isomer.In chapter 3,a HPLC-DAD method for the determination of melamine in fresh milk and dairy products was developed.The HPLC conditions and sample pretreatment procedures were optimized in detail. The results showed that the method is rapid,sensitive,and accurate.The method can be used to rapidly monitor the content of melamine in foods in the routine analysis.In chapter 4,a spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace aluminum in foods was developed.After dry digestion,the content of aluminum was analyzed using chrome azurol S as a coloured system. The sample pretreatment process was optimized.The method widened the food sample range of detection. |
