As the patients of chronic kidney disease increase year by year in global, the prevalence of End-stage renal disease continues growing. Patients of End-stage renal disease (ESRD) receiving chronic peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis are growing peryear. Also the mortality of CKD patients is rising, accumulating evidences suggest the high cardiovascular mortality hold about 50% to the total number.FetuinA is a serum protein which is produced by liver, and presents in lower concentrations in end-stage renal disease than in healthy controls. It also can inhibit vascular smooth muscle cell calcification ,which form the circulating protein–minenal componds to inhibit phosphate or calcium deposition formed vascular calcification ,but not impact on the normal physiological processes. FetuinA in lower concentration has poor ability to inhibit calcium phosphate deposition ,and some inflammation factors will rise,so that incidence of atherosclerosis, vascular and heart valves calcification highly increases. And the mortality of cardiovascular events continue rising. If change the concentration of FetuinA to nomal level may inverse the level of phosphate and Calcium multiplication in serum . So that it is very immpotant to detect and interfere the Serum FetuinA's level in patients of chronic renal failure .
