Object: Cell Cycle and Apoptosis are the cardinal events for cell. They act together to maintain the stability of body. Cyclin E is cell cycle specific, being maximal in G1-S phase, which plays a critical role in the transition of G1-S. The present study was designed to explore the pattern of apoptosis under different expression of cyclin E in cell cycle. Materials and Methods: Through SiRNA interference technology we made the model of low expression of cyclin E in Hela cells. Under different status of cyclin E in cell cycle, such as low level group and high level group, the induced apoptosis of both groups by mimosine were detected.Result: The apoptotic rate of high level group was higher than low level group, the apoptosis of Hela decreased when the cyclin E level is lower, the proliferation of cell cycle is decreased. Conclusion: Apoptosis is controlled by the status of cell cycle. No drive, no apoptosis. Cyclin E may some mesmerism between cell cycle and apoptosis. Apoptosis may be a cell cycle event. Object: The cell apoptosis model was established by exposing the Molt-4 cells to UV, detect the cyclin E expression of the cells of apoptosis. so that to study the roles of the cyclin E expression in the cell cycle specific apoptosis.Materials and Methods: After irradiation by UV, human acute lymphatic leukemia MOLT-4 cells were gathered. One part of the cells were analyzed by cyclin E/DNA and API multiparameter method. The other part of the cells by cell sorting, were sorted into 2 groups-the group of dead cells and the group of alive cells. After then, compare the level of cyclin E expression between them through western blot.Result: UV induce G1 arrest and G1 specific apoptosis on Molt-4 cells. the level of cyclin E was arised during cell arrest after the inducement of the G1 apoptosis by cyclin E/DNA multiparameter method. the level of cyclin E of the dead was lower obviously than the alive. Conclusion: The degradation of cyclin E protein may participate in the G1L apoptosis.
