Because of its unique Biological compatibility and Mechanical property, titanium has been widely used in medicine and is regarded as the most promising metal material for dentistry. According to the findings from years of research by medical workers and scholars, titanium has incomparable advantages. However, the binding strength of titanium-porcelain cannot reach that of the traditional gold-porcelain. Although titanium-porcelain material is being developed continuously, there is still controversy about the preoxidation of pure titanium. This experiment, based on ISO9396, adopts three-point-bending test and SEM,EDS observe. Before applying porcelain, the test vehicles of casting titanium and cutting titanium are naturally preoxidized for 5min,15min,30min and heating preoxidized to 300℃,500℃,700℃,750℃,800℃,850℃at 9 different preoxidized levels. Then porcelain fusing is done with Duceratin Kiss and Noritake Ti22 powder respectively. Different materials on the binding strength of titanium-porcelain are researched to provide reference to clinical operation.Results:1. In the casting titanium/Duceratin Kiss power groups,the casting titanium are naturally preoxidized for 5min,15min,30min and heating preoxidized to 300℃,500℃,700℃,750℃,800℃,850℃. Each group of three-point-bending test titanium porcelain bonding strength respectively is 28.03±2.82 MPa,27.72±5.25 MPa,27.38±2.61 MPa,28.80±1.54 MPa,28.91±1.53 MPa,30.60±0.97 MPa,33.36±4.42 MPa,28.80±2.90 MPa,21.68±2.32 MPa。The result indicated that 750℃the treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength is highest, 850℃the treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength is lowest. Besides 850℃the preoxidized group, other oxidation groups satisfy clinical standard 25.5Mpa.SEM and EDS demonstrated that 750℃the treatment group titanium porcelain separation contact surface has the bulk porcelain body cover, Si,Al element content accounts for the proportion to be highest. 850℃the treatment group titanium porcelain separation contact surface does not have the porcelain block cover basically, its Si, Al element content accounts for the proportion to be lowest. Other each group of appearances basic same, obviously the few small porcelain block remains in the titanium porcelain contact surface.2. In the Casting titanium and Noritake Ti22 powder group, 9 preoxidized treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength respectively is 25.11±2.25 MPa,24.33±1.69MPa,24.04±1.77MPa,24.86±2.78MPa,24.25±3.11MPa,26.06±1.78MPa,27.14±2.33 MPa,28.49±2.37 MPa,22.17±2.03 MPa. The result indicated that 800℃the treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength is highest, 850℃the treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength is lowest. Only the 700℃, 750℃, 800℃groups of titanium porcelain bonding strength may achieve 25.5 MPa gold porcelain bonding strength standard. SEM and EDS demonstrated that 800℃the treatment group titanium porcelain separation contact surface has the bulk porcelain body cover, Si,Al element content accounts for the proportion to be highest. 850℃the treatment group titanium porcelain separation contact surface does not have the porcelain block cover basically, its Si, Al element content accounts for the proportion to be lowest. Other each group of appearances and Si, Al element content occupies basically compared to same.3. In the cutting titanium and Duceratin Kiss powder group, 9 preoxidized treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength respectively is 27.86±1.79 MPa,27.21±2.48MPa,26.45±1.84MPa,28.80±1.54MPa,28.91±1.53MPa,30.60±0.97MPa,31.89±1.23MPa,31.67±2.43MPa,22.57±3.84MPa. The result indicated that 750℃the treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength is highest, 850℃the treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength is lowest. Besides 850℃the preoxidized group, other oxidation groups satisfy clinical standard 25.5Mpa.The result of EMS and EDS of the cutting titanium and Duceratin Kiss powder group are as the same as the Casting titanium and Duceratin Kiss powder group basically.4. In the cutting titanium and Duceratin Kiss powder group, 9 preoxidized treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength respectively is 24.48±1.88 MPa,23.73±2.13MPa,23.77±1.76MPa,24.02±2.51MPa,24.00±2.44MPa,24.98±2.26MPa,26.06±2.42MPa,30.16±1.53MPa,21.78±1.78MPa. The result indicated that 800℃the treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength is highest, 850℃the treatment group titanium porcelain bonding strength is lowest. Only the 750℃, 800℃groups of titanium porcelain bonding strength may achieve 25.5 MPa gold porcelain bonding strength standard. The result of EMS and EDS of the cutting titanium and Noritake Ti22 powder group are as the same as the Casting titanium and Noritake Ti22 powder group basically.Conclusion:1. Preoxidation on the Binding Strength of Ti-PorcelainEach group of experimental result showed that the pure titanium roasts the Duceratin Kiss power, the Ti-Porcelain bonding strength is highest after 750℃heating preoxidized , when the preoxidized temperature surpasses 850℃, the titanium porcelain bonding strength obviously drops, cannot achieve 25.5 MPa the golden porcelain bonding strength standard. The Ti-Porcelain bonding strength of Noritake Ti22 porcelain powder and pure titanium could achieve the best strength after 800℃the heating oxidation, the pure titanium 700℃below and 850℃the preoxidized groups titanium porcelain bonding strength cannot achieve 25.5 MPa of the gold porcelain bonding strength standard.2. Porcelain powder on the binding strength of Ti-porcelainAccording to experimental statistics, the binding strength of Duceratin Kiss powder with casting titanium preoxidized at 750℃is the optimum, and the binding strength of Noritake Ti22 with cutting titanium preoxidized at 800℃is the highest. Because the different porcelain powder's production process is different, in the porcelain powder's ingredient as well as various ingredients account for the percentage to be different, cause it to roast porcelain before the titanium the pretreatment technological requirement slightly to have the difference, but from the different preoxidized Ti-porcelain bonding strength value,SEM scanned EDS,we could find that the Ti-porcelain bonding strength of two kind of porcelain powder along with oxidized craft change consistent basicly .3. The titanium material on the binding strength of Ti-porcelainAccording to comparison, the degree of oxidization of cutting titanium and casting titanium changes in line with the binding of the porcelain powder. Although the absolute binding strength of titanium-porcelain of casting titanium is a little higher than that of cutting titanium with porcelain powder under the same treatment (cutting titanium/Noritake Ti22/800℃excluded), there is no obvious difference. So, the pretreatment of casting titanium before porcelain is suitable for the porcelain of cutting titanium and the binding strength of Ti-porcelain of cutting titanium can meet the clinical standard.
