The Clinical Manifestation And Laboratory Examination Feature Of Multiple System Atrophy

【Aims】The study was to investigate the clinical manifestation and laboratory examination feature of multiple system atrophy(MSA).Then we can deep recognition of the MSA.So we can improve our early diagnosis accuracy of the MSA,and reduce the missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.【Subjects & Methods】We collect 9 MSA patients which had been met in our hospital during last three years,and summarize and induce their clinical manifestation and laboratory examination feature.Then analyze the clinc,auxiliary examination feature and new study progression of MSA.【Results】Clinical feature:We can see 6 olivopontocerebellaratrophy(OPCA) patients and 3 Shy-Drager syndrome(SDS) patients.We can found 8 males,1 female,and the average age is 53.7.The head symptom was different.We can see the typical clinical manifestation such as egetative nerve functional disturbance,extrapyramidal and opisthencephalon symptoms,but also can see the atypia sympyoms such as speech disorder,wheeze,descent of recognintion,et al.laboratory examination:We can see the MRI of 66.7%patients is abnormal.100%of the extremity NCV is abnormal,but 50%of extremities skeletal muscle EMG is abnomal.The anal sphincter EMG of the only one pantient who had did was abnormal.【Conclusion】The clinical manifestation of MSA is multiple,and at the early stage of the disease the manifestation is atypia,So it is difficult to diagnosis.Correct assurance of the clinical manifestation of MSA,and combination with the imaging, neuro-electrophysiology that can easy find the hypo-clinical region.So we can improve our early diagnosis accuracy of the MSA,and reduce the missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.
