Objectives To assess the hearing and language in prelingually deafened children with cochlear implant,and investigate the relative influential factors of rehabilitation.Methods 40 prelingually deafened children with cochlear implant in our hospital participated in this study.The evaluating method on hearing and language rehabilitation in deafened children was used as test material.Results The hearing and speech rehabilitation scores of earlier implantation age were obvious better than that of older implantation age(P<0.05).The hearing and speech rehabilitations results of no-remain hearing group and normal inner ear group are better than that of remain hearing and malformation groups.Conclusions Prelingually deafened children should receive cochlear implant as early as possible.The prelingually deafened children of congenital malformation or no-remain hearing could get great improvement in hearing and speech rehabilitations with cochlear implant.The age of implantation is an important relative influential factor of rehabilitation.
