Objective:to analyze and estimate the clinical outcome of the tibial nonunion fracture treated with external fixator.Method: 24 patients were followed up after post-operation. According to Iowa criteria,comparisons of pre-operation and post-operation were implemented.Results:In the 24 cases ,there are 9 cases with osteomyelitis,in which 1 patient was not healed because of pin infection.There are remarkable differences (p<0.05) and the effectuality rate is 95.83%.Most cases obtained content resulte. Conclusion:Application of external fixation is very effective in treatments of tibial nonunion . |
