The Study On 4-7 Years Old Caesarean Delivery Children's Behavioral Characteristics

Nowadays, more and more children are born by caesarean section. Domestic and foreign scholars already conducted some researches on the children' s behavior characteristics who delivered by caesarean section. But almost no one of them combined children' s delivery way with children' s temperament, gender and age in their research designs. Based on past studies, this research is aimed to examine the relationship between delivery way and children 's behavioral problems ,also try to descriptive caesarean born children' s behavioral characteristics combining the multi-factors as temperament, gender and age .The participants are 283 4-7 years old children from one shanghai kindergarten and one primary school of Jiangsu province. Measurement tools are self-designed children' s general condition questionnaire, NYLS 3-7 children temperament questionnaire and Achenbach' s child behavioral checklist. What' s more this study according to the caesarean delivered children' s behavioral characteristics, gave some advices to the parents and teachers.The major research results are:1,There are significant differences between caesarean delivery children and vaginal delivery children in body complain. Vaginal delivery children 's body complain score in CBCL is higher than caesarean delivery children.2,The influence of temperament are different in caesarean delivery and vaginal delivery children. In depression behavior, caesarean delivery children are same as vaginal delivery children. There are significant differences in various temperaments. However, in body complain, caesarean delivery children showed no significant differences in various temperament.3,In various temperament ,delivery ways affects on children' s behavior are different. In depression behavior, only in slow-to-warm-up children, vaginal delivery children' s score is higher than caesarean delivery children. In Easy and Difficult temperament, there are no significant differences between caesarean and vaginal delivery children. In body complain behavior, only in Difficult children, vaginal delivery children' s score are higher than caesarean delivery children. There are no significant differences between caesarean and vaginal delivery children in other two temperaments.
