Laser is being applied more and more widely in life science, and one has gained some application production in physics, medicine and breeding. But until recent, people still have little knowledge about the micro-mechanism of laser-biotissue effect. Photothermal effect is one of the most important events in the medical application of lasers. Biotissue can be coagulated, vaporized and carbonized when they absorb the optical energy, in clinical practice, it is necessary to study the mechanism of optical propagation and thermal diffusion. In this paper, based on the interaction mechanism of laser-biotissue, we introduce optothermal response process of biological tissue, discuss theoretical and experimental methods in the field of photothermal interaction, analyze critical condition of photothermal effect research and the interaction relationship. By investigating interaction coefficiency of biotissue, we find coefficiency is closely related to thermal-conduct process in the biotissue. That is to say, measuring the optical characters of biotissue can indirectly demonstrate relative thermal regulation. The research result is valuable for clinical applications.
