Analysis Of Current Situation And Tendency About Clinical Research Of Acute Ischemic Stroke By Content Analysis

Purpose:Analyze the current situation and tendency about domestic clinical research of acute ischemic stroke(AIS)and correlating factors during 1990 to 2008,induce the conclusion of the research,and approach the advantage and feasibility of Content Analysis used in TCM literature review.Method:Literatures about clinical syndrome research of acute ischemic stroke are reviewed by Content Analysis.Information from qualitative analysis is classified and conversed to quantitative data,in order to be analyzed by chi square test.Finally,the statistics is explained.Result:During 1990 to 2008,the amount of domestic clinical research about acute ischemic stroke syndrome,which was sponsored by project,has been greatly rising.Some tendency was significant,including differentiating acute and non-acute phase,ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke and aiming at acute phase, combing disease-differentiating,using criterion of west medicine,and syndrome-differentiating,and researching syndrome based on some certain criterion.However,there is a great variety of criterion for differentiating TCM syndrome and the selection of criterion was different,mainly based on basic syndrome.In term of the emphasis of syndrome study,correlating research combining modern medicine was……,especially in research of the correlation of syndrome and biomarkers.On the contrary,it appeared downtrend in research of the correlation of syndrome and iconography.In recent years,study concentrating on syndrome itself has been gradually thinking highly of.It is clear from all the literature,that wind,phlegm and bloodstasis are the main syndromes and pathogenesis,that sthenic syndromes are more than deficient syndromes,and that patient with phlegm,heat or qi-deficiency appears more severe in neurologic impairment.On the contrast,it is ambiguous whether there is correlation between bloodstasis and neurologic impairment, blood fat and every syndrome,and between bloodstasis and blood rheology.Conclusion:1.Clinical research of syndrome and correlating factors of acute ischemic stroke has been more and more thinking highly of.The researching tendencies are combing disease- and syndrome-differentiating,standardizing syndrome-differentiating and concentrating on study of syndrome itself.2.Differentiating syndrome based on basic syndrome makes quantitative and qualitative analysis possible,making for correlating research combing modern medicine.3.It is ambiguous whether it is good for syndrome research and TCM developing,that complex syndrome is reduced to simple one,and that biomarkers are used to do correlating study of syndrome.
