Affection Of Yupingfeng For T Lymphoctye Subpopulation And IgE Level Of Patients With CVA During Remission Stage

Background and Objective:Cough variant asthma(CVA) is coughing as the main clinical manifestations of an asthma.Which Is a special type of asthma.It has the characteristics of chronic persistent,stubborn and recurrent.The study of Chinese medicine based on the "non-disease" theory to determine the way of benefiting vital energy for "yu-ping-feng" to improve immune functions of patients with cough variance asthma during remission stage,in order to treat and improve CVA effectively.Method:The 76 patients diagnosed with CVA in remission stage,using the PEMS3.1 software package,were divided randomly into two groups:the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group in which 38 cases were treated by "yu-ping-feng",one bag(100ml) every time and twice a day;The control group in which 38 cases were treated by placebo,which was consist of malt,millet sprout and shenqu,one bag(100ml) every time and twice a day,being treated for 8 weeks together,and the two groups couldn't eat any medicine when they were being treated,before and after the treatment calculate the level of the immune globulin IgE and T cell CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+.the difference between the groups were compared.Results:1.In the treatment group,the level of IgE was decreased markedly(P＜0.01);in the control group was no significance(P＞0.05).2.In the treatment group,the level of CD8+ after the treatment were increased obviously(P＜0.01),while CD4+/CD8+,CD4+ were decreased markedly(P＜0.01);in the control group were no significance(P＞0.05).3.The detection of two indicators of cases after treatment to compared,there is a significant improvement(P＜0.01). 4.Treatment and follow-up period of eight weeks,The treatment group compared with the control group,the cough symptoms had a significant improvement (P＜0.05),the treatment group was superior to the control group.Conclusion:"yu-ping-feng" can increase activity of reticular endothelial system,regulate T lymphocyte subsets,lower CD4+,increased CD8+,thereby reducing the level of IgE,and improve immune function in patients with cough variant asthma,to suppress inflammation and improve symptoms in patients with cough variant asthma,enhance the resistance of patients,and reduce airway hyperresponsiveness,In order to alleviate the typical acute attack of asthma.
