Objective:To investigate the expression of signal transducer andactivators of transcription 3(STAT3) and suppressor of cytokine signaling 3(SOCS3) protein in the Adenomyosis,further to discuss the correlation between STAT3/SOCS3 and Adenomyosis.Thus,our results may provide the theoretical evidence that contributes to uncover the aetiology and mechanism of Adenomyosis and to explore the new strategies.,Methods:Tissue microarray and immunohistochemistry by SABC methods were employeed to study 41 archival adenomyosis samples and 41 Utering myoma tissue samples.The presence of STAT3 and SOCS3 protein were investigated.Results:(1)The positive rates of STAT3,SOCS3 in adenomyosis tissue group tissue is 78.1%and 32.3 %(P<0.01,P<0.05).(2)The expression of STAT3 was negativel related to the expression of SOCS3 in adenomyosis tissues(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)In adenomyosis tissue,the expression of STAT3 is hight while the expression of SOCS3 is low.(2)The over expression of STAT3 and the deleted expression of SOCS3 might be involved in the development of adenomyosis.(3)The expression of STAT3 is negatively correlated with SOCS3 expression,which suggested the development of adenomyosis was the result of the synergistic effects of many genes,not only STAT3.(4)The expression of STAT3 is negatively correlated with SOCS3 expression,which suggested the correlation between STAT3/SOCS3 and adenomyosis might be similar with the correlation between STAT3/SOCS3 and tumors. |
