The outbreak rate and death rate of lung cancer is increasing quickly currently, and it is one of malignant tumors which threat mankind's health and life most. The treatment means and diagnosis techniques of the lung cancer have made great progress in recent years, but 5 years'survival rate of lung cancer patients is only 14% [1].The pulmonary adenocarcinoma amount to about 20% in lung cancer, pulmonary adenocarcinoma sufferer has no obvious clinical symptom generally in earlier period, usually can be detected by chest image examination. Although pulmonary adenocarcinoma grows slowly, some cases metastasize at early period, prognosis is bad.VEGF(vascular endothelial growth factor ) plays an important role in cancer invasion and metastasis, it is to promote blood vessel born of mainly regulate factor, but the tumor encroach upon to transfer is close with afferent and born relation, so is regulate by VEGF[2- 5].CD147 also can be called "extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer"(EMMPRIN), which is a kind of transmembrane glycoprotein widely expressed in human body tissue. It can induce secretion of extracellular matrix metalloproteinase , dissolves extracellularmatrix(ECM)and facilitate cancer invasion and metastasis.The chest CT(computed tomography) has higher particularity to the diagnosis lung cancer, especially the chest SCT(spiral-CT) can show narrow degree and involved area of windpipe and bronchus, and show involved situation of blood vessels. SCT application will raise the sensitivity of lung cancer checks and the accuracy of diagnosis the lung cancer [6.7 ].The molecular biological factor decides the growth method, appearance characteristic, malignant degree, relapses and metastasis of the tumor. The biological behavior can decide tumor pathologic appearance change, which is the foundation of image signs. So the study of relation between lung cancer image signs has certain theory foundation. The CD147 and VEGF are associated with invasion and metastasis of the tumor, but no study has been found to detect these 2 gene expressions in the meantime, and compared with CT signs. In this study, the relativity between the expression CD147 and VEGF's in the pulmonary adenocarcinoma and CT signs will be researched, and molecular biological factor's impact on mechanism of the pulmonary adenocarcinoma CT signs will probed, and CT signs to judge malignant degree and prognosis of tumor.55 cases of pulmonary adenocarcinoma in The china-Japan friendship hospital during 2004~ 2008 have been collected, among them male 34 cases, female 21 cases, age from 34 to 78 years old, the average age is 60.2 years old, all patients have not been treated before operation .The standard of the tumor metastasis is: occurrence of Lymph node metastasis range from the first diagnosis to 3 months after operation can be certified as cancer metastasis. Adopting method of the immunohistochemistry SP to measure the CD147 and the VEGF expression in the pulmonary adenocarcinoma tissue respectively, record the negative result, and mark the grades of the positive results according to dye area and dye strength. The chest CT examination adopts Japanese Toshiba Aquilion 16 layer spiral CT, the examination results all have been read by two experienced doctors . CT signs of Spicule sign,vacuole sign,spinous protuberance sign,tumor size,deep lobular sign,Pleural indentation sign and lymph node metastasis sign have been collected.Firstly, we compare the expression of CD147, VEGF with the differentiation of pulmonary adenocarcinoma and sufferer's Lymph node metastasis of pulmonary adenocarcinoma, in order to judge significance of CD147 and VEGF in detect malignant degree and prognosis of the pulmonary adenocarcinoma.Secondly, we compare the expression result of the CD147, VEGF with CT signs before operation, to observe the relativity between the expression of CD147 and VEGF in the pulmonary adenocarcinoma and CT Signs.Thirdly, compare the expression result of the CD147 with VEGF, to analyze consistence of these 2 gene expressions.The experiment data use SPSS11.0 software to carry out statistic processing. The result show that positive expression rate of the CD147 and the VEGF in 55 pulmonary adenocarcinoma amount to 72.73(40/55),70.91%.(39/55).Among 31 metastasis cases , positive expression rate of the CD147 and the VEGF amount to 87.10%(27/31),90.32%.(28/31).The CD147 expression is related with CT signs of vacuole sign,tumor size,spinous protuberance sign,deep lobular sign and lymph node metastasis sign (P<0.05), but have no relativity with Spicule sign and Pleural indentation sign (P>0.05).The VEGF expression is related with Spicule sign,spinous protuberance sign,deep lobular sign and lymph node metastasis sign (P<0.05), but have no relativity with tumor size,vacuole sign and Pleural indentation sign (P>0.05) .The expressions of CD147 and VEGF have high consistence.Our research result showed:1,CD147 and VEGF is closely related with invasion and metastasis ability of the pulmonary adenocarcinoma ,is significant to assessing the Pulmonary adenocarcinoma malignant degree and judgment of prognosis.2,There is relationship between some CT signs of the Pulmonary adenocarcinoma and CD147,the VEGF expressions. The appearance of Spicule sign,spinous protuberance sign,tumor size over 3cm,deep lobular sign and the disappearance of vacuole sign hint high malignant degree of cancer, increased invasion ability of pulmonary adenocarcinoma. 3,CD147 and VEGF have high consistency in the expression of the Pulmonary adenocarcinoma, have relativity on the function mechanism. 4,To compare the result of CD147 and VEGF expression co-examination with CT signs is beneficial to deep understanding of the development process of the tumor and judge the pulmonary adenocarcinoma prognosis more accurately.
