| Expression of survivin and smac gene in multiple myeloma and their clinical significance[Obstructive]To study the expression of survivin and smac mRNA in multiple myeloma(MM) and their clinical significance.[Methods]29MM patients were divided into three groups:de novo MM(nï¼9), remission(nï¼13) and relapsed(nï¼7) groups,12 healthy adults are normal control(NO).The expression of survivin and smac in MM patients and healthy adults were detected by using real-time quantitative PCR technique.[Results]A positive rate of surviv.in and smac in the MM patients was 72.4% and 75.9%,and their expression levels in de novo MM patients was significantly highter than in normal control(NO)(P<0.01),while they decreased in complete remission patients than that of NC,and satatistical significance was found(P<0.05).In relapsed patients, the expression of survivin and smac increase again, smac expression positively correlated with survivin(rï¼0.924,P<0.01).[Conclusion]The expression of survivin and smac genes is closely related to the occurrence and development of MM,which may be used as prognostic indicators of the disease. |
