The Epidemiologic Feature Of IBS And It's Correlation Factor In HangZhou Community Inhabitant

【Background and Purpose】Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) is a functional gastrointestinal illness,characterized by abdominal pain and discomfort symptoms without pathologic and biochemical findings,with a high incidence.It is often associated with disord of colonic motive and sensitive;a bad eating habit and especially psychological conditions.Therefore,we did a epidemiologic survey of IBS in HangZhou community inhabitant with Questionnaire, and analyzed it's relationship with psychological factor and some others.【object and method】1.objectCommunity inhabitant in HangZhou city,16-75 years old,with a good understanding to questionnaire and a good communication ability to investigate.We exclude the people with a progression serious disease(as advanced heart disease, hepatopathy,nephronia,nervous system disease and tumor),patho-GI disease excluding Gastroesophageal reflux disease and functional gastrointestinal illness,history of GI operation excluding AP,CHC,drug and alcohol abuse. 2.methodSurvey,the form of face-to-face survey.All data are applied SPSS 16.0 software package,P＜0.05 for the difference has statistical significance.【Results】1.Investigate the actual total of 656 cases of community residents in Hangzhou,male 221,female 435,The average age samples is(47.9±14.9 ) years old.2.There are 47 cases of patients with IBS,whose Symptoms consistent with the RomeⅢcriteria.The prevalence is 7.2%,male 9,female 38.IBS-D 13,IBS-C 12,IBS-M 12,IBS-N 10.3.By the single factor and multi-factor regression analysis,female(OR=2.292),anxiety(OR=2.845 ),history of abdominal ill(OR=4.282 ) are most likely the risk factors of IBS.【Conclusion】The incidence of IBS in HangZhou community habitant is 7.2%,which is similar to the past results about at home and abroad.Female,anxiety and people who have a history of disease have a tendency to anxiety.
