Objective We evaluated the expression of endocan and VEGF in osteosarcoma tissues and studied the clinicopathological characteristics and its clinical significance in lung cancer tissues.Methods 34 patients with osteosarcoma specimens from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University in the department; surgical resection specimen is confirmed by pathology and, at the same time, the pathological and clinical data, he is complete. Another take osteofibrous dysplasia tissue as control group.Results The high expression rate of endocan protein in the endochylema of osteosarcoma tissues was significant。And control expression is not obvious. In the organization of osteosarcoma endocan average light density (MOD) for 0.2170±0.0506, for control group MOD is 0.0914±0.0388. Statistical analysis results for t = 6.349, P < 0.01.Obviously, there is difference MOD statistical significance. 34 patients with osteosarcoma were endocan and the expression of VEGF model, respectively 0.2108±0.0507, 0.2261±0.0509. P < 0.01 significant statistical significance through Pearson statistics. 34 patients with osteosarcoma were endocan and VEGF, with corresponding MOD clinical data analysis. Gender, male and female 20 cases of 14 cases, endocan protein expression model respectively: 0.2130±0.058; 0.2076±0.0403, P = 0.764, no statistical significance, VEGF MOD respectively: 0.236±0.0607, 0.2123±0.0291, P = 0.191, no statistical significance. Age: 22 cases under 20, 20 years old in 12 cases. Two groups of endocan protein detection MOD respectively is 0.2080±0.0526, 0.2157±0.0489. By t-test statistical analysis, two groups of numerical is no difference (P > 0.1). Two groups of VEGF protein detection MOD respectively is 0.2221±0.0531, 0.2334±0.0481. In the age of two groups of numerical is no difference (P > 0.1), no statistical significance. Less than four months of the patients had 16 cases, more than four months of patients with 18 cases. Two groups of endocan protein detection MOD respectively is 0.2352±0.0504, 0.1890±0.0410. By t-test statistical analysis, two groups have differences between numerical during the course of (P = 0.006, P < 0.05). Two groups of VEGF protein MOD detection respectively is 0.2467±0.0552, 0.2078±0.0400. By t-test statistical analysis, two groups have differences between numerical during the course of (P = 0.024, P < 0.05). Course length is a statistically significant. The new WHO type, type well-differentiated groups in 6 cases, ordinary group, 24 cases were other type of four cases. The endocan protein detection MOD respectively is 0.1627±0.0174, 0.2161±0.0406, 0.2161±0.0406. Its VEGF protein detection MOD is 0.1867±0.0221, 0.2298±0.0461, 0.2623±0.0816. endocan indicators have differences between groups through analysis of variance (F = 5.106,P =0.012). Further analysis, ordinary group and other type group is no different. But high differentiation type group and ordinary group, other differences between groups have type. VEGF in each group is no obvious difference (F = 3.147, P =0.057). There is no difference in well-differentiated type group and ordinary groups. There is no differencein ordinary group and other type between groups. But there are differences in well-differentiated groups and other groups. Stage: Ib stage 3 cases, IIa stage 20 cases, IIb stage 21 cases.The endocan protein detection MOD respectively is 0.1748±0.0153, 0.1730±0.0345,0.2339±0.0506. Its VEGF detection MOD respectively is 0.2063±0.0091, 0.1852±0.0278, 0.2485±0.0507. Endocan group has significant by variance analysis (F = 6.090, P = 0.002). Endocan index shows no difference in the group Ib and IIa between groups through further analysis. But endocan indexes are statistically significant difference in the Ib,IIa groups and IIb groups. VEGF in each group is different (F=6.911, P=0.001). There is no difference in the Ib and IIa group of VEGF, no difference in the Ib and IIb group by further analysis. But the Ib and IIb groups have difference index VEGF. Pulmonary metastasis, 22 cases distant metastases, 12 patients had not been found. The endocan protein detection MOD respectively is 0.1881±0.0372, 0.2524±0.0464. Its VEGF detection MOD respectively is 0.2065±0.0383, 0.2622±0.0527. Through the analysis of the independent sample t-test, two groups of numerical significant differences, this is a statistically significant(P=0.0024,P<0.01).Conclusion Endocan protein in osteosarcoma in organization, protein expression mainly in cytoplasm, part in tumor microvascular epithelium. Endocan with VEGF protein expression is relevance.They occur in the role of osteosarcoma in tumor blood essels.This suggests that endocan protein involved in or influence of osteosarcoma tumor blood essels.Endocan protein expression and clinical data of course, installment, transfer, endocan hint has participated in the osteosarcoma occurrence, development and transfer. The expression endocan detection of osteosarcoma prognostic has certain directive significance. Endocan antioxidant therapy may is treating osteosarcoma of new targets.
