Research On Training Mode Of Specialized Nurses In The United States And Enlightenment For China

Specialized nurses as special nursing professionals were developed for adapting to people's health care needs. Today, with China's rapid economic development and increasing people's level of living, the two associated nursing issues, the development of specialty nursing and specialized nurses training, have become the focuses of discussion in the nursing academia. How scientifically and normally to carry out China's specialized nurses training is a problem worth exploring.Based on exploring in depth the history of the development and the training mode of specialized nurses in the United States, this study was intended to compare the history of nursing education and current situation of nursing professionals training of our country with that of the United States, propose our specialized nurses' training mode and the training program in certain nursing area, and prospect the training of specialized nurses in our country.The dissertation was made up of five parts. The introduction elaborated the research background, objectives, significance, contents and methods.Part one, the first chapter, discriminated the concepts related to specialized nurses, described the characteristics of nursing profession and nursing specialization, and offered the theoretical basis for the study of specialized nurses training mode for the whole dissertation.Part two, from Chapter Two to Chaper Three, was mainly the study of the history of development, current situation and training mode of specialized nurses in the United States. Chapter Two, reviewing the history of education and training of specialized nurses in the united states and analyzing the current situation, summarized a staggered development process of the training of specialized nurses, which including two-level and five-type, two-stage and multi-phase, two-system and three-mode. Chapter Three, the four elements of talents' training mode, ranging from the training goals, systems, processes and appraisal and evaluation, were served as main line to analyse the training mode of specialized nurses in the united states.Part three, the fourth chapter, explained the history and current situation of nusing education and the training of nursing professionals and analyses the root causes of backwardness of nursing development in China; the four elements of talents' training mode served as clues, the dissertation described nursing professional's trainging mode in China, compared and analysed the differences of the nursing talents' training mode between US and China, and made substantial construction of specialized nurses' training mode in China; Finally, training of specialized nurses in pediatric general surgery as an example, to investigate the related issues of specialized nurses training in pediatric general surgery through the Delphi method, we attained training procedures of specialized nurses in pediatric general surgery in our country.Concluding remarks gave the prospects, difficulties and power for training of specialized nurses in China based on the images from three mirrores: the history, the United States, China self.
