The low energy laser acts with the biology can have the biological effect, if we apply this biological effect in the medicine, it may cure certain disease. Laser acupuncture utilizes low energy to radiate biological tissue, then cause the corresponding effect and enable patients to restore their health with the help of this equipment. The wave of near-infrared and the laser of visible light have many physiological actions and treatment functions to organism and these can be shown by the improvement of partial blood circulation, nervous system function and anti-infection and the promotion of polygenesis of organism, as well as the analgesia function. Low energy laser acupuncture has been applied to the clinical treatment extensively now.In this thesis, the mechanism of action for low energy acupuncture is analyzed concretely, light propagation and the distribution of light absorption in biological tissue is simulated with Monte-Carlo method. Though comparing the distribution of energy in biological tissue generated by single and mufti-beam as well as flat and Gaussian light, influence of various light sources and the light spot size on the distribution of light absorption is analyzed. Then the mufti-beam combined sources are used to radiate the biological tissue, and the distribution of light absorption that radiated by various mufti-beam combined sources is obtained. The distribution of light absorption is influenced by the distance between beams is analyzed. There is the important significance to the selection of light source for low energy laser acupuncture.Then, the heat effect of low energy laser acupuncture is analyzed quantitatively. Through Matlab programming, the relation during radiation time, radiation density and skin temperature is found out; the optimal parameter selection for low energy laser acupuncture is introduced. The simulation results are valuable to the laser source choice and the therapy plan confirming.
