Object:Using G band for criterion, judge the efficiency of FISH in rapid prenatal diagnosis. Methods:Amniotic fluid cells were analyzed by using FISH probe. At the same time, they were cultured in situ and their karyotypes were analyzed by G band.Result:1.the form of prenatal diagnosis sign:There are 101 cases,including:①high risk of Down's syndrome;②age≥35;③bad pregnant history;④ultrasound shows baby monstrosity;⑤parent has abnormal chromosomes;⑥others.2.the results of FISH:For marked chromosomes,FISH inspect 100 cases successfully in 101 cases, including 2 abnormal cases, which were 18 trisomy and Turner's syndrome.1 cases were defeated.3.the results of G band:It cultured 100 cases successfully, and there were 5 abnormal cases, including 2 cases, which were consistent with FISH.4.compared the results of FISH with G band:Both FISH and G band, there 1 cases were defeated in 101.The reason was that cells were so few in FISH.The case of G band failed was contaminated. For marked chromosomes, the results of FISH and G band were the same, but FISH failed for unmarked chromosomes. Conclusion:For marked chromosomes(including sexy chromosomes),the percentage of accordance between FISH and G band was 100%.For unmarked chromosomes,FISH was hard to diagnosis, but G band could. So FISH could diagnose rapidly for marked chromosomes, but it couldn't replace G band.
