Analysis On Etiology And Pathogenesis Of TCM Of Urolithiasis In Changsha Region

Objective:This study based on the review of discussions about etiology and pathogenesis of urolithiasis in the historic medical literature of TCM, combined with epidemiological investigation method,analyze the individual's data,TCM diagnosis and patients' X-ray diagnostic data of urolithiasis,discuss the relationship between main etiology and pathogenesis of TCM of urolithiasis and X-ray diagnosis,provide basis for TCM diagnosis and treatment on urolithiasis.Method:Using epidemiological questionnaire,investigate 312 urolithiasis patients who were hospitalized in the First,Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of TCM in Changsha region from January 2007 to February 2008,the investigation includes patients'general condition, diagnostic data of TCM,radiological diagnostic data,then use statistical assemble analysis to induce the pathogenesis of TCM of urolithiasis, research the relationship between pathogenesis and radiological diagnostic results by variance analysis.Results:The investigation shows the male patients of urolithiasis in Changsha region is more than the female patients,a large portion of patients is more than 30 years old,the patients in cities are more than in rural areas, most of them are cadres,this disease often occurs in summer.The patients' tongue mainly in red,pink,with yellow greasy,thin white or white greasy tongue coating, the pulse mainly feels tight,rapid,deep,thready and unsmooth.The single, granular small stone with irregular edge can be seen in X-rays.Conclusion:The main etiology and pathogenesis of TCM of Urolithias in Changsha region is heat-dampness in lower-jiao,deficiency of kidney-qi, and stasis in lower-jiao.The relevance between etiology and pathogenesis of TCM and X-ray diagnositic results can be found.
