Objective: Comparison of high-VEGFR-1 expression in hepatoma cell line MHCC97-H by the VEGFR-1-specific ligand VEGF-B before and after activation of Snail, Slug, Twist protein expression changes in protein levels from liver cancer cell line proved MHCC97-H receptors VEGFR-1 activation induced by hepatocellular carcinoma cell line MHCC97-H occurred in epithelial mesenchymal transformation (EMT), and possibly gene therapy for liver cancer looking for new targets.Method: Through VEGFR-1 high expression of hepatoma cell line MHCC97-H for cell culture, MTT method used to find the specific VEGFR-1 ligand VEGFB to promote liver cancer cell line growth MHCC97-H optimum concentration of cells with this concentration cultured hepatoma cell line so that MHCC97-H of the receptor VEGFR-1 activation, using Western-blot method of detection of hepatocellular carcinoma cell line MHCC97-H of the receptor VEGFR-1 activation before and after, Snail protein, Slug protein, Twist protein expression changes .Result: Snail, Slug, Twist protein in liver cells of three strains of MHCC97-H activation of VEGFR-1 receptor expression were 0.7554±0.0211,0.5199±0.0305,0.6715±0.0187 higher than its pre-activated expression of 0.2255±0.0234,0.2112±0.0270,0.1556±0.0354 significantly increased (P <0.05)Conclusion:Illustrated from the protein level can be induced by VEGF-B high-VEGFR-1 expression in hepatoma cell line MHCC97-H occurred in EMT; Snail, Slug, Twist might gene therapy for liver cancer to provide new targets.
