Real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT-3DE) was an important method to investigate the motion of the heart . RT-3DE was used to realize the 3D reconstruction of mitral annulus, analyze the motion of mitral valves and get the distance between the peak point of mitral valves and mitral annulus.First, several adaptive filtering methods were between compared with wavelet soft-thresholding method and It was proved that the wavelet soft-thresholding method was better.RT-3DE was denoised to improve the quality of the echo image by wavelet soft-thresholding filtering. Second, Cadio4DViewer was used to collect the feature data of mitral annulus and valves. The reference plane was got by the 3D reconstruction of mitral annulus. The reference plane was used to get the distance between the peak point of mitral valves and mitral annulus. Then, samples of normal children and serious mitral insufficiency children were been compared with the related statistics. At last, Cadio4DViewer software was introduced briefly. The distance between the the peak point of mitral valves and mitral annulus gives us a new way to analyze the motion of mitral valves and provides useful references for the doctors to do the research on the motion of mitral valves and plan on surgical operation of mitral valves.
