The Antibiotics Sensitivity Of Helicobacter Pylori Strains Isolated From Patients Of Jiangxi District

Objective:We have tested the antibiotics sensitivity of 60 Helicobacter pylori ( H.pylori ) strains isolated from Jiangxi citizen,and so as to approached the drug resistance characteristics of H.pylori to antibiotics,and instruct medication for bacterial eradication.Methods:The 60 strains were isolated from 190 patients who living in Jiangxi areas. Two pieces of gastric antra mucosa was obtained from the patients underwent gastroduodenoscopy in Jiangxi provincial hospital for stomach diseases,One piece of mucosa was used for H.pylori detection by the method of rapid urease enzyme test,another piece of mucosa was cut up and put in a sterile plate and then cultured on the Columbia agar base with 6% sheep blood after about 3~5 days later at 37℃,the shape of H.pylori colony could be observed with naked eyes and the bacterial morphology could be seen under microscopy.The organisms were identified as H.pylori by the morphology characteristics of bacteria and the shape of bacterial colony.The tests of urease and oxidase activities were also used in the identification.All above isolates of H.pylori strains were detected for the antibiotics sensitivity to amoxicillin,levofloxacin,tetracycline and furazoli separately by E-test disk diffusion test.Results:1.The overall positive rates of H.pylori were 31.58%,while in man and woman were 30.48% and 32.94% separately.The positive rate in different age groupes is 32.43% in teenagers ,33.33% in young people and 30.11% in elder people (>60). The positive rates of H.pylori to duodenal ulcer was 50.98%,it was higher than that of the gastritis (23.30%) and gastric ulcer (27.78%). 2. The percentage of susceptive strains were as follows:80% to furazoli,86.67% to amoxicillin,90% to levofloxacin,96.67% to tetracycline.Conclusions:1.The positive rate of H.pylori in patients of Jingxi district has no relationship with gender and age. The positive rate of H.pylori in patients with duodenal ulcer was highest.2.H.pylori is sensitive to furazolidone,amoxicillin,tetracycline and levofloxacin.
