The Research Of Treatment Value Of Meglumine Diatrizoate For Early Postoperative Inflammatory Small Bowel Obstruction

Objective:Explore etiology and treatment methods of early postoperative inflammatory small bowel obstruction to further evaluate treatment value of Meglumine Diatrizoate for early postoperative inflammatory small bowel obstructionMethods:From January 2002 to January 2009 a total of 58 consecutive patients of EPISBO were retrospectively studied in our ward. The patients were distributed in different group according to application of Meglumine Diatrizoate . Comparing clinical data and effect to further evaluate therapeutic value of Meglumine Diatrizoate for early postoperative inflammatory small bowel obstruction.Result:1. EPISBO often was caused by gastrointestinal and gynecological operation. Clinical symptoms include abdominal distension and vomiting. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) and X-ray has high diagnostic value. 2.The result of application Meglumine Diatrizoate were better than Contrast group In aspect for lightened symptoms including abdominal distension,abdominal pain,exhaust time and Cured time.3. All of 58 patients were cured by Conservative treatment. Effective percentage of conservation treatment is 100%.Conclution:1. Clinical symptoms of EPISBO include vomiting, abdominal distension and relatively light abdominal pain.2. The Meglumine Diatrizoate can obviously improve the EPISBO therapeutic effect.
