| Fatigue can be divided into physical fatigue and brain fatigue, if it is physical fatigue, when you had a sleep, it can be relieved. Brain fatigue is a concept different from physical fatigue. Brain fatigue, as reflected in the brain are not yet sick or become sick of the various non-normal status, the performance of a sub-health. Mental fatigue signals are feeling mental fatigue. Necessary adjustment and recovery should stop to sleep or entertainment, sports (or manual) and other brain functions to promote a positive adjustment. At this moment, if forced to continue the work of the brain, it will increase the mental fatigue, resulting in the injury of brain cells, or to restore brain function obstacle to happen. So, it has a great significance on researching brain fatigue.EEG is the gold standard for the fatigue monitoring. In this paper, so by detecting changes in EEG approximate entropy to monitor the degree of human fatigue. By researching and investigating in related fields, a design of EEG acquisition and analysis system (as system of fatigue monitoring) has been proposed in this paper. It is an instrument of signal feature extraction based on virtual instrument, microcontroller and modern digital signal processing technology. A / D conversion and PC communications is designed based on PIC and USB interface, PC applicable program is designed with LabVIEW to fulfill the display, analysis and database preservation of feature values as well as corresponding individual information.In allusion to strong noise, non-stationary and non-linear in EEG, a mathematical morphology nonlinear filter is designed to fulfill non-linear filtering. Nonlinear and non-stationary signal processing method which is Hilbert - Huang Transformation (HHT) theory is systematically studied, which the time-frequency distribution of the pulse signals is obtained and analyzed. Finally the use of approximate entropy method of its operation, by comparing the changes of ApEn, we can detect the extent of fatigue.Through our experiments, measured the approximate entropy of the human body when people in a calm, tired, and after a rest period. By contrast, we can draw inference, the human body similar to the smaller entropy, the greater the fatigue. Fatigue is inversely proportional to the relationship and approximate entropy. |
