Object To analyze the relativity of the primary hepaticcarcinoma DSA features and VEGF expression in HCC tissues, and explore the possibility of the primary hepatic carcinoma biological character with DSA imaging features. Materials and methods Fifty-four cases with the primary hepatic carcinoma confirmed by pathology were divided into different groups according to DSA imaging features, such as the rich blood supply, AVS, less blood supply , size and numbers, silhouette et al. The HCC tissue obtained by puncture passed through HE stain. The tumour cells were classified to high differential groups (I to II grades) and low differential groups (III to IV grades) by Edmmond methods. VEGF in HCC tissue section was diagnosed by immunity chemistries and Elivision Tmplus methods, according to stain degree and percentage of positive cells. The statistic data was processed by SPSSS13.0.Results In 54 cases, 24 cases was classified into the type of rich blood supply, 20 cases into the type of AVS and 10 cases into the type of less blood supply. Twenty-one cases were found as giant mass above 50mm diameter, 23 cases as nodes less than 50mm diameter. According to numbers, there are 44 cases with alone tumour and 10 cases with multiple tumours. By the HCC silhouette, there are 28 cases with sharpness edge and 26 cases with blur edge. There are 15 cases with negative expression, 19 cases with positive expression and 20 cases with strong positive expression in 54 cases of VEGF examination.By statistical analysis, the significant differentiation exists among VEGF expression in HCC tissue and blood supply type, tumour number, tumour silhouette(p<0.05), without significant deviation between tumour size and VEGF expression in HCC tissue (p>0.05) .Conclusion The significant relativity was observed between DSA imaging characteristics and VEGF expression in HCC tissue. The present results can improve the knowledge about HCC invasion, metastases, treatment effects and prognosis judge.
