Diagnosis And Treatment Of Malignant Fibrous Histiocytoma Of Pancreas (A Case Report And Literature Review)

Objective:To describe the approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the pancreas.Methods:The study included one patient with malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the pancreas analysed by the clinical characteristic, Imaging,pathology,immunohistochemistry and treatment.Relevant literature was reviewed.Results:The patient was given pancreatic neoplasm resection and postoperative three dimensional conformal radiotherapy by medical linear accelerator.No radiological evidence showed the recurrence of the tumor after follow up for 9 months.Conclusion:Mlignant fibrous histiocytoma of the pancreas is one of the common types of malignant tumors with poor prognosis,metastasis and low survival rate,mainly relying on the diagnosis of pathology and immunohistochemistry。Surgery and Radiotherapy can prolong survival time and delay tumor recurrence.
