ObjectivesTo investigate the importance of neural factors in pathogenesis of the congenital ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO). To discuss the pathophysiological mechanism.MethodsA group as the ureteropelvic junction from 31 cases(UPJO);B group as the surgical margin of ureter from the same cases as B group;C group as the ureteropelvic junction from 30 cases, which prenatal ruled out urinary tract abnormalities and induced labor for more than 32 weeks and autopsy of the fetus– Neonatal those for autopsy. To observe the distribution of nerve fibers by PGP9.5 immunohistochemistry analysis in microscope. The results compared in A,B,C team.1. Studies of HE StainSamples were used for HE stain in order to observe ganglion cell2. To observe the distribution of nerve fibers by PGP9.5 immunohistochemistry analysis in microscope.3. To observe the configuration of nerve fibers in electron microscope. ResultsThe Density distribution showed B>A,C>A;there was no difference betweent B and C. Nerve fiber could be found in muscular layer in B and C groups, except A group.1. In all group ,We could not found any ganglion cell under HE staining, include observed in electron microscope.2. The nerve fibers showed different orders distribution in cross-section., suggested the direction of nerve fibers is not simply a horizontal or vertical.3. In all A groups ,We could not found any nerve fiber in muscular layers ,they distributed in the outside tissue. And in group B,C, We could found nerve fiber in muscular layers and outside tissue both.ConclusionsFrom the result ,it could confirm the importance of neural factors in pathogenesis of the congenital ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO). During the surgery,it may be necessary to confirm the density distribution of nerve fiber.
