[ObjectivelBy insulin-induced hypoglycemia, low blood sugar in rabbits of different parts of the brain injury, the effects of low blood sugar caused by different brain pathology.[Methods]1.Rabbit in group:healthy adult rabbits weighing 2.5-3.0kg 20,male or female, were randomly divided into 2 groups of 10 each, each 12-hour fast, free drinking water.A group for the control group,B group was the low blood sugar.2.Preparation of low blood sugar model:group A,anesthesia fixed, the tracheotomy tube, after the femoral artery catheter, femoral artery blood glucose test basis.Rabbit ear vein, normal saline infusion.Group B,anesthesia was fixed after the tracheotomy tube, after the femoral artery catheter, femoral arterial blood glucose test basis.Rabbit ear vein insulin infusion saline mixture.3.Data Monitoring:Group B based on blood glucose test ear vein after the insulin infusion saline mixture, continuing to maintain blood glucose 1.5-2.0mmol/l, between maintaining the blood sugar more than 4 hours.Group A based on blood glucose measured after the ear vein infusion and group B the same amount of saline. Record blood pressure and blood sugar 1 hour in each site, excluding factors of low perfusion caused by brain damage.4 Preparation of specimens:rabbits were sacrificed, brains were removed quickly, remove the olfactory bulb, cerebellum and lower brain stem, put part of the brain in 4%neutral formaldehyde solution, fixed, fixed for 72 hours, sent to the Pathology Department of slices.Take the brain frontal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe, and hippocampus slices.5 observation of normal neurons within the brain cells in a fixed proportion of cells, observation of A group and B group the different changes occur, and take photographs. [Results]1 A rare group of cortical neurons, neuronal integrity and cell nuclei in the central, less metachromatic quality;cytoplasm light red, protruding less.B group a large number of neurons in the occipital cortex edema, neuronal cells showed enlarged nuclei neurons increased in the cells of the central, nucleolus is not clear, turn pale staining.2 A group of normal frontal cortex neurons(95.4±0.8)%,the normal temporal cortex neurons(95.0±0.9)%,occipital cortex of normal neurons(95.6±0.7)%, frontal and temporal lobe, occipital pair wise comparisons,p>0.05,no significant difference.Group B normal frontal cortex nerve cells(71.7±2.7)%,temporal lobe cortex of normal cells(70.3±2.3)%,occipital cortex of normal cells(26.2±2.3)%,B group of frontal and temporal lobe comparison between,p>0.05,no significant difference between frontal and occipital lobe comparison,p<0.05,significant difference between the temporal lobe and occipital lobe comparison,p<0.05, significantly different.B group of frontal and temporal lobe, occipital lobe and the A group,p<0.05,significant difference.3.Group A within the cortex and hippocampus,no significant changes in the choroid plexus.Group B cortex and hippocampus of the choroid plexus, significantly congestion.[Conelusionl1.Severe low blood sugar can result in cortical neurons in rabbits significant edema, and the most serious damage to the occipital lobe.2.Severe low blood sugar can cause rabbit cerebral cortex and hippocampus of the choroid plexus obvious congestive changes.
