Objective:Investigation the burden and anxiety in caregiver of patients with advanced lung cancer, and analyze the factors. Provide a basis to formulate the targeted interventions, in order to improve the caregivers'physical and mental health level, increase the quality of life care for patients with advanced cancer.Methods:Questionnaire was used to investigate 240 family caregivers of patients with advanced lung cancer from 4 Grade III-A Hospitals in Changchun City. Zatit Burden Scale and Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale were used to assess the burden and anxiety, and self-designed questionnaire was covered basic situation.Results:1. Minimum scores of caregiver burden was 3, maximum was 77, and average scores was 29.79±13.89, of which 53.7% with mild, moderate 19.8%, severe 3.1%.2. Average scores of caregiver anxiety was 41.96±8.52,higher than national norm. There were 59.0% respondents having anxiety, of which 35.2% with mild, moderate 16.9%, severe 7.5%.3. It had linear correlation between caregiver burden and anxiety. The higher the scores of burden were, the more severe anxiety was.4. The factors of caregiver burden were caregivers'sex, family economic situation, health and literacy. Female caregiver burden was higher than men. The burden of caregiver who had good economic status was lower than poor. The burden of caregiver who was poor physical condition was worse than good. The burden of caregiver with good education was higher.5. The factors of caregiver anxiety were caregivers'sex, literacy, health and employment. Female caregiver anxiety was higher than man. The anxiety of caregiver with good education was lower. The anxiety of caregiver with poor health was higher, and the caregiver not working was higher than on-employment.Conclusion:1. The burden and anxiety of caregivers who care patients with advanced lung cancer are prevalent, which is mainly mild.2. It had linear correlation between caregiver burden and anxiety.3. Female caregiver burden was higher than men. The burden of caregiver who had good economic status was lower than poor. The burden of caregiver who was poor physical condition was worse than good. The burden of caregiver with good education was higher.4. The anxiety of caregiver with good education was lower. The anxiety of caregiver with poor health was higher. The anxiety of caregiver with good education was lower,and the caregiver not working was higher than on-employment.
