Objective to investigate the application of entrainment mapping in catheter ablation of atrial tachycardia (ATa) following atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation, and how to improve the success rate of mapping and ablation. Methods measure the post-pacing interval (PPI) and tachycardia cycle length (TCL) by using multisite pacing guided by CARTO system, to determine the mechanism and location of AT a and to guide the ablation. Results Fourteen patients recurred with ATa after AF ablation were enrolled,9 of them were found with macroreentrant ATa,4 of them with focal ATa, and one was found pulmonary vein-dependent, which were then confirmed by ablation. Conclusion combination of activation mapping with entrainment mapping under the guidance of CARTO system helps to rapidly determine the mechanism and location of ATa.
