Abstract/Summary:
ObjectiveStudy the characters of CHD in women, who are under the age of 50 and still have regular menses.MethodsUse male CHD patients who are younger than 50 as comparision (n=56), analyse female counterparter's (n=47) risk factors and characters of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).ResultsIn the study,3 women smoke (6.4%),4 women drink (8.5%),3 women have higher level of low density lipoprotein (LDL) (6.4%),7 women have lower level of high density lipoprotein (HDL) (14.9%), the number (%) are all lower than their male counterparters (P<0.05). Women also have fewer myoinfarction than men (19.1% versus 41.1%, P<0.05). In the same time, women have fewer obstruction in anterior decending branch, while the number of obstruction remains no difference in gender.Conclusion1. Women under 50 years old have fewer risk factor of CHD than men.2. PCI show no difference in the number of vescular obstruction, while anterior descending branch have fewer obstruction in women.3. Although women have fewer myoinfarction, we still need to pay more attention to the prevention and treatment.
