The Experience Of Immediate Breast Reconstruction Surgery With Implants After Nipple-sparing Modified Radical Mastectomy

To investigate the feasibility, indications, surgical methods and related issues of immediate breast reconstruction surgery with implants after nipple-sparing modified radical mastectomy to the early breast cancer.Materials and MethodsA retrospective analysis of 21 patients who experience immediate breast reconstruction surgery with implants after nipple-sparing modified radical mastectomy to the early breast cancer, comparative the incidence of postoperative complications between the reconstruction group and the group of patients who experience modified radical mastectomy at the same time hospitalization. Scheduled for postoperative adjuvant therapy, and follow-up observation of local tumor recurrence rate.ResultsThe incidence of postoperative complications between the reconstruction group and the group of patients who experience modified radical mastectomy at the same time hospitalization was not significant difference. The satisfaction of postoperative appearance of satisfaction was 95.6%(22/23), short-term follow-up observation without tumor recurrence.ConclusionThe method which deserves wider application is simple and less traumatic, high security, and many other advantages, can improve breast shape, to avoid psychological obstacles caused by the breast defects and deformities, improve quality of life in breast cancer patients.
