The Efficacy And Effects On Thrombocyte Of Linezolid In The Treatment Of Severe Infection For Elderly Patients-clinical Analysis Of 53 Cases

[Objective] To evaluate the efficacy and effects on platelet of linezolid used combine with other antibiotics in the treatment of elderly patients with severe infection.[Methods] A retrospective analysis the clinical data of 53 elderly patients with severe infection who were treated with linezolid.[Results] The clinical total effective rate was 94.3%.Bacterial clearance rate was 82.8%. Thrombocytopenia incidence was 67.9%, of which 39.6% case's platelet count decrease more than 50%.The lowest platelet count≤50×109/L Of 17% cases,25% thrombocytopenia cases complicate bleeding,36.1% cases need transfusion therapy.[Conclusion] The clinical effect of linezolid in the treatment of over 80 years elderly patients with severe infection is very good, but thrombocytopenia occur must be highly alert.
