Objective:To observe changes of laryngeal mask airway on the hemodynamics of elderly patients during anesthesia induction. To compare the stress response of elderly patients during general anaesthesia with different airway devices:laryngeal mask airway(LMA) or intubation. To study the safety and effective of laryngeal mask airway(LMA).Research Methods:Thirty elderly patients with ASAⅠ~Ⅱ,age 60-77years old, weight 45-70kg were divided randomly into laryngeal mask airway (Group LMA,n=15)and intubation group(Group T,n=15).Keep patients calm with 5 min after entering operation room, and open up intravenous access.Anesthesia was induced with midazolam 0.05mg/kg,fentany 3ug/kg,etomidate 0.3mg/kg and vecuronium 0.lmg/kg. Laryngeal mask airway and intubation were placed by the same anesthesiologist. Patients using propofol, sevoflurane, fentany and atracurium to maintain depth of anesthesia.HR,MAP,CO,SVR,ACI,TFC,LCW were measured at different time:before intubation or LMA(To),immediate intubation(T1),after intubation 1 minute(T2),5 minutes(T3),10 minute(T4).Results:(1) There was no significant difference in age, weight and height of the two groups (P>0.05).(2)HR and MAP in group LMA were much lower than group T at the time of T2,T3,T4;compared to To,HR and MAP were lower in two groups at the time of T1 because of the stress response.Compared to T0,HR and MAP were much higher in group T at the time of T2(P<0.05).Group L were much lower than group T at the time of T2 (P<0.05).(3)There was significant difference in CO,SVR,LCW at the time of T2,T3 between group T and group L (P<0.05).Compared to To,they were muchhigher at the time of T2,T3 (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in group L at any time (P>0.05).(4) There was no significant difference with ACI and TFC in two groups at any time (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in group T compared to To (P>0.05)Conclusion:1.LMA smooth hemodynamics in the perioperative.2.LMA has lower stress to the elderly patients.3.LMA is more stability than tracheal intubation in postoperative recovery, less secretion.
