Objective:Venous thromboembolism include pulmonary embolism (PTE) and deep vein thrombosis(DVT).DVT refers to the fiber protein,pratelets,red blood cell and other blood components become to be clot in deep vein cavity.The blood clots of DVT drop easily and run with blood circulation causing PTE.DVT and PTE is the different stages of VTE.The former is essential to prevent the occurrence of the later.80% DVT has no obvious symptoms while PTE has a higher mortality,so prevention and earlier diagnosis and treatment of DVT after gynecologic surgery are important.The purpose of this article is to approach the early diogno-sis,treatment and prevention of venous thromboembolish(VTE) after gynecologyc surgery and cesarean sectoin.Methods:collection and analysis were done on 26 cases of VTE in Maternity Hospital of DaLian frome January 2002 to December of 2009.Resaults:18 cases of DVT and 8 cases of PTE are included in 26 cases of VTE,18 cases of DVT and 6 cases of PTE were cured and 2 cases of PTE were dired.after effective treatment.In addition to deaths the coagulation of 24 patients is normal at discharge.Conclusion:VTE is one of the most common complications after gynecolo-gical cancer surgery and cesarean section.characteristics of female pelvic and the physiologycal changes of pregnancy are the risk factors of VTE;D-dimer and color doppler are effective tools in the diognosis of VTE;conventional application of LMWH and IPC can prevent VTE effectively;Laparoscopic don't increase the incidence of VTE of postoperation.
