Objective:1 To obtain the aesthetic data of stars'face forms and to investigate the application of the data to be the preoperative reference of patients with square face.2 With the application of the proportional location coordinates of facial soft tissue to investigate the feasibility of facial contour reconstruction to refer to the aesthetic data of movie stars'face forms.3 To discuss the application of computer 3D reconstruction and computer simulation techniques to determine the accurate quantitation of Zygoma differences and select appropriate surgery method in malformation of asymmetric zygomaMethods:1 We selected twenty frontal and lateral photoes of face forms of beautiful female movie stars in Asian.The measurements were performed with the application of photoshop, and then the statistic analysis to the data was carried out.2 According to the aesthetic data of movie stars' face forms and the conclusion of the formerly study about facial postoperative width reduction of patients with square face, we applied the proportional location coordinates of facial soft tissue to determine the operation plan. And the Comparisons between postoperative face forms 6 months latter after operation and the reference of movie stars'face forms were done.3 Computer tomography scanning and 3D reconstruction were performed on 10 patients with malformation of asymmetric zygoma before operations. To mirror the side of the normal zygoma to the affected side, we used the middle sagittal plane for axis plane. After transparence and Boolean operation, we determined the accurate quantitation of Zygoma differences,found the most appropriate surgery plan and performed routine operations through simulating different surgical procedures. Results:1 The aesthetic data of movie stars'face forms were obtained.2 According to preoperative plan, the surgery procedures and the comparisons were successfully done.3 After obtaining intuitive, accurate 3D reconstruction graphs and accurate simulated surgery procedures, actual surgery procedures were performed in all cases. As a result,the operation time was shorten, precision of operation was improved and postoperation results were satisfactory.Conclusion 1 With the application of proportional location coordinates of facial soft tissue, the aesthetic data of movie stars'face forms were obtained. They can offer preoperative reference of patients with square face.2 With the application of the proportional location coordinates of facial soft tissue, the aesthetic data of movie stars'face forms were obtained, which is an effective method to guide facial contour reconstruction.3 The application of computer 3D reconstruction and computer simulation techniques improves diagnostic precision and operation planning selection in malformation of asymmetric zygoma, which is a good aided method in treatment of malformation of craniofacial asymmetry.
