Clinical Studies On EVLT Combined With Operation For Venous Varicosis Of Lower Limbs

Objective:1. To evaluate the Treatment Effectiveness of EVLT combined with surgery in treating varicose vein of lower limb;2. To investigate the indication, complication,relapse rate and improvement measure of that Treatment.Methods:86 patients with a total of 91 varicose vein of lower limbs divided into 3 groups underwent EVLT combined with surgery. Three therapeutic entities were included(1):severe primary reflux of the deep veins 4 limbs:EVLT+extermal banding valvuloplasty of superficial femoral vein+high-ligation of saphenofemoral junction+SEPS;(2)mild primary reflux of the deep veins 16 limbs:EVLT+high-ligation of saphenofemoral junction+SEPS;(3)Simple saphenous varicosity 71 limbs: EVLT+high-ligation of great saphonofemoral vein. We gather the statics before and after treatment.; observe complication , therapeutic effect ,investigate the situation of patients to evaluate the position of EVLT in the threatment of enous varicosis of lower limbsResults: All the patients recovered well , The postoperative hospitalization time was 6 d(range, 2-10 days). Obvious symptom alleviation or entire disappearance was noticed in all the limbs after operation. Postoperatively, the 9 lower extremity with ulcers showed healing at a mean of 4 weeks . Patients had clinical follow-up visits, including duplex ultrasound examination, ,the diamention of GSV reduced, varicose vein was blunt and no flow could be detected within the in compressible GSV . deep vein was normal , none has deep venous thrombosis .The follow—up for the mean period from 6—20 months showed no recurrence and no clinical symptom or signs. Major complications(eg:subcutaneous nodules , monoanesthesia) all disappear. the 9 lower extremity with ulcers showed healing ,none has recurrence, Ankle Dermatitis or eczema .Conclusions: EVLT combined with surgery was proved as a new, safe and Effective method in treating varicose vein of lower limb ,it avoided the defect of single surgery. It is a safe ,reliable, efficacious minimally invasive strategy for the treatment of primary varicose veins, resulting in approving cosmetic effect as well. Depend on the specificity of the disease, it can heal the venous varicosis of lower limbs from the case and Pathophysiology .
