Diabetes is a chronic disease, abnormal glucose metabolism, and diabetic retinopathy is the common microvascular complications in patients, and diabetes, abnormal lipid metabolism when offenders are usually of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy an important impact on development. Previous studies suggest that lipid metabolism and diabetic large vessel disease, but in recent years, dyslipidemia and diabetes microvascular disease have an increased attention. So I make this clinical study on blood lipids in diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy, the impact of the development process and diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy. Objective: To analyze the abnormal lipid metabolism and diabetic retinopathy and the relationship between diabetic nephropathy and diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy. Methods: In our hospital from November 2008 to December 2009 in-patient and out-patient 146 patients with type 2 diabetes patients blood lipids, glucose and other data for statistical analysis, measurement data using ( x±s) or the median and upper and lower four quantile that between the two groups using t test or rank sum test, normal data correlation analysis using Pearson linear correlation, non-normal data using Spearman non-parametric statistical analysis. Using the statistical package Statistical SPSS13.0 to P <0.05 for the difference was statistically significant. Results: 1. This group of 116 cases of diabetic patients, male 92 cases, female 54 cases, male to female ratio = 1.70:1. Age 35 to 60 years old, minimum 5-year history, the longest 15 years. In which 66 patients with normal blood lipids, blood lipid abnormalities were 80 cases (accounting for 55% overall), significantly higher. 2. Lipids with normal: DR (24cases 36.36%), DN (17 cases 25.76%); lipid abnormalities in: DR (37 cases 46.25%), DN (26 cases 32.50%), blood lipid abnormalities DR, DN incidence was significantly higher than normal. 3. This set of data in 43 cases of DN patients, while the merger DR 18 cases, accounting for 41.86%, which is basically parallel to the relationship.Conclusion:1. Diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy belong to diabetic microvascular disease, its occurrence has seriously affected the quality of life in patients with diabetes, and prognosis.2. Lipid metabolism of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy has a significant impact, early intervention is delayed for lipids of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy an important factor.3. About 40% of patients with diabetic nephropathy associated with diabetic retinopathy, which is basically parallel to the relationship.
