ObjectiveBy comparing the analysis of liquid-based cervical cytology and biopsy in the diagnosis and high risk human papillomavirus DNA (HPV-DNA) testing of liquid-based cervical cytology (TCT) of cervical lesions and their significance.MethodRetrospective analysis of China Medical University Hospital outpatient 57,784 cases of Shengjing TCT screening. Cytology diagnosis using TBS (2001)report classification system, the positive diagnosis, including the ambiguous atypical squamous cells (ASC-US) and above lesions.554 were positive by routine biopsy under colposcope, which were also 317 cases of cervical HPV-DNA testing were compared against the three. In addition to the cervical cancer confirmed by cervical biopsy and test results simultaneously TCT results of 103 patients were compared.Result1.TCT examination and cervical biopsy results positive diagnostic rate of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) 3 cases and 4 cases of adenocarcinoma were found pathological diagnosis; high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) compliance rate was 86.67% (91/105), low grade squamous intraepithelial (LSIL) found was 33.93% (38/112);2.The cervical biopsy confirmed carcinoma in situ and SCC cervical biopsy in patients with TCT and the coincidence rate of 28.57%(26/91), false negative rate of 38.46%(35/91). Confirmed by biopsy of cervical adenocarcinoma and cervical biopsy in patients with TCT's compliance rate was 50.00%(6/12), false negative rate of 41.67%(5/12).3.TCT suggest HPV infection and HPV-DNA detection rate was 79.00% compliance (173/219). 4.Cervical high risk HPV-DNA positive rate correlated with histopathologic grade.ConclusionLiquid-based cytology for screening of cervical lesions, the ability to detect a large number of cervical lesions, TCT results for the HSIL and cervical cancer and cervical biopsy in patients with higher conformity. TCT suggest HPV infection with high accuracy. But the TCT screening of cervical cancer have a higher false negative rate.TCT check for negative and highly suspicious clinical, older patients should pay more attention, and further have a colposcopy and high-risk type HPV-DNA testing, a positive cervical biopsy, endocervical curettage in particular, to reduce cervical cancer The rate of misdiagnosis. High-risk HPV-DNA testing can be used as control targets TCT objective diagnosis, but also as ASC-US and LSIL triage of patients without disease and sickness among the inspection, the result is positive endoscopic colposcopy and biopsy results negative 12 months after the repeat cervical cytology.
