| ObjectiveTo investigate the clicinal characters and the dangerous factors about post-menopausal women with type 2 diabetes mellitus develop serum uric acid.MethodsThe investigation was conducted by means of case control study, post-menopausal women with type 2 diabetes mellitus 150 were divided into two groups according to their uric acid level. Body mass index(BMI), waist to hip ratio(WHR), blood pressure(BP), fasting plasma glucose(FBG), fasting insulin(FINS), fasting-C-peptide(FC-P), Glycosylatde hemoglobin A1C(HbA1C), serum uric acid(UA), creatinine(Cr) were measured and compared between the groups. Fasting-C-peptide was used to replace insulin in homeostasis model assessment(HOMA)for assessment of the status of insulin resistance.Results(1) A group of obesity rates is higher than B group (P< 0.05).Between the two groups, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fatty prealence with no significant differences.(2) A group of age and TG, Cr, FINS, FC-P, HOMA-IR(CP), UA (P< 0.01), course, the course of postmenopausal age, BMI (P< 0.05) is higher than B group, and A group of HDL-C is Less than B group (P< 0.05).(3) Logistic regression analysis results suggested that TG and Cr were independent dangerous factors to the development of hyperuricemia in post-menopausal women type 2 diabetes (P< 0.05).ConclusionPost-menopausal women with hyperuricemia in type 2 diabetes had a more tendency to insulin resistance.Logistic regression analysis results suggested that TG, Cr were the independent risk factors of hyperuricemia in post-menopausal women type 2 diabetes. |
