Ginkgo biolaba L. is a Subphylum Class gymnosperm Ginkgo.Ginkgo Branch single Species of plants,the contents of active ingredients in Male and female strains have great differences.In this study, the resources,morphology and the contents and pharmacology of active ingredients of Ginkgo biolaba L. were investigated.Comparative studies were made of morphology between the male and female strains by a long process of conducting field investigation and consulting related data.The extraction of Ginkgo flavonoid from root, stem, leaf were hydrolyzed by hydrochloric acid, the generates were quercetin, kaempferol andisorhamnetin The contents of flavonein were determined by three kinds of HPLC method.To compare the contents of total flavonoids in the root stem and leaf of male and female Ginkgo biloba L.The extraction of Ginkgo has effects of improving the cardio-cerebral vascular circulation and antiallergic anti-bacterial and anti-virus,Tetracycline has a side-effect of liver injury, EGB has protective effects on liver injury induced by tetracycline.With the rich nutrient of Ginkgo biloba seed, mixing it with milk to produce a new drink.
