Objectives:Comparative observation of guided bone tissue regene-ration capacity and characteristics between homemade biofilm and Ti film. Which is used in Rabbit tibial defect for guided bone regeneration. To explore it as a bone to guide the effectiveness and superiority of the membrane.Methods:Select the health of 24 adult New Zealand white rabbits as the experimental object. Under general anesthesia in its side of the upper third of the tibia followed by the formation of three 5mm diameter and the depth of the hole-shaped bone defect,2mm distance between holes, respectively to the three holes in the active materials implanted in bone induction.Then in the bone defect covered by the order 7x7mm of alginate-Chitosan membrane,7 x 7mm titanium film and no treatment group. Put the Barrier film under the periosteum then suture. Each groupe execute 6 animals after 2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks,8 weeks. Then do the clinical inspects, X-ray examination, histological examination and analysis.Results:1 General observation:In the first seven days after surgery, about all animals were showing a tendency toward swelling in the surgical sites. There are two cases of invasive area redness, mild ulcer. With 5% PVP iodine scrub disinfected once a day then the surgery area neither purulent nor Split. Wound completely healed after 1 week. A group and B group fade granulation tissue of bone defect after operation in 6 weeks, healing of the defect has been formed, but have not been completely smooth, dense. However Group C has not formation of bone wound, Can still see the hole-type defect,0.2cm in diameter bone Design Center of the soft zone. 2 X-ray observation:After 2 weeks no significant difference between groups. From 4 weeks X-ray images show the gradual strengthening. A group of defects at the edge blur, Increased density of the edge of circular images appear, There is patchy increased density, image; Group B showed a circular defect density defect; Group C sharp edge of bone defect.3 Light microscope:After 2 weeks of the operation, around the trabecular bone attached to the increasing osteoblast in group A and B. Endosteal, and periosteal proliferation of mesenchymal active.Group C has little osteoblast.Most of them are fibrous connective tissue. After 4 weeks, 6 weeks,8 weeks the bone cells through a callus from immature-mature callus-trabecular bone-mature lamellar bone in the process of change.4 Determination of bone defect new bone area:2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks and 8 weeks, the percentage of new bone area were A group and B group than C group, p<0.05, statistically significant; A group and B group, p> 0.05, not significant. Alginate-chitosan and titanium membrane biofilm was no significant difference.Conclusions:1.Sodium alginate-chitosan membrane with a guided bone regene-ration.2.The regeneration of bone defect direction of concentric growth.3.Sodium alginate-chitosan membrane guided bone regeneration with titanium membranes of adult bone area were no statistically significant difference.
